This Kit includes all the parts you will need to build a Treasure Chest. All the wooden parts are pre-cut for easy assembly. Click on the printed instructions to see how easy it is to put together.
When you order 1 or more of the options you will be telling us how you intend to decorate the chest and we can make adjustments to your order. For instance, if you order the rope handles, we will send sides that have larger holes to accommodate the larger rope. Or if you order leather handles the sides won't have any holes at all. And if we don't understand, we'll call you.
Also, you can order the HideAway that adds a false bottom to your chest so that you can hide secret stuff in the bottom.
If you choose the Brass Name Plate from the options, please remember to tell us what name you would like. You can tell us in the "customer notes" when you check out.

A bare bones kit where you can pick your own options and make your own Pirate Chest, Disney Princess Box, Jewelry Box or Collectors Box. Paint it your favorite color or stain it to look like a Pirate Treasure Chest. The kit comes with no feet, no handles and no trim. Then you can add your choice of wood, leather, or rope handles, wood feet and leather or wood trim.
The Kit contains the brass hinges, brass chain (for the lid holder) and screws, brass tacks and screw nails and is made of the same sturdy construction we are noted for. Solid wood construction Made in the USA.
We also have 2" x 1/4"thick Baltic Birch wooden letters that are hand-cut by craftsmen right here in Ohio. You can use the letters to personalize your Treasure Chest.
After you click on the link above, please click on "Wooden Letters" and add your letter order to the cart. Change the quantity to match the number of letters in your order. Then, at checkout, tell us the names of the letters in the "Customer Notes".

The letters are unstained and can be painted, stained or sealed in a contrasting color. We will send the letters to you so that you can place them on the chest yourself.

Old Looking Solid Cast Brass drawer pulls used as handles for the Treasure Chest.
Please tell us if you are using the pulls on a kit so that we can send you pieces of wood that don't have holes pre-drilled. These handles are mounted with screws from the outside.

We provide (4) lengths of strap for the front/back and (2) longer ones for the top and enough brass tacks to attach to the chest.
The kit also includes (2) pieces for the handles.
The Brass Buckle acts as a lid lifter. See "More Photos" for an example of the buckle.
