This Pirate Treasure Chest is trimmed in New Leather and hand rubbed with 2 coats of Black Walnut stain. A large tray can be ordered that can be used to store small treasures.
The smaller chest in the foreground is our 18" Pirate Chest for size comparison. To keep the price down we have not added the leather trim or the straps and buckles to this item. We suggest that you can add just what you want this time and then add to the chest at a later date.
The chest is made of Cabinet Grade Wood and an Imported Bendable Plywood Birch Top by Amish Tradesmen in Ohio.
It can also be used to store all those treasures like the current issue of Field and Game, rifle and shotgun cartridges, his/her favorite handgun or the last Nascar programs.
These Chests can be ordered in Black Walnut stain with Leather Trim, curved lid and your choice of handles (please make your selection from the options).

You can add the Pirate Buckles and Snaps from the options.
The lid is held open with a brass plated chain and it is fitted with brass plated hinges.
The domed top is standard.
Please note: the Leather Handles are standard and come with the standard leather trim. No need to order them twice.
You can order the Antique or Bright Brass colored Latch on the front. You can also choose the Brass Name Plate from the options. Please remember to tell us what name you would like. You can list the name or date in the customer notes when you check out.
Don't forget to choose the HideAway Kit. The HideAway is a false bottom that has a finger hole for removal. The really neat thing about it is that you can adjust the level of the bottom so that you can hide larger items.
All of our Chests are hand made here in the USA, by us. The Chest measures 23-1/2" wide, 17" tall and 15-1/2" deep (front to back).
