Large Unfinished Chest

This Unfinished Treasure Chest measures 18" wide, 14" tall (with feet) and 11" deep (front to back).
It is completly assembled, ready for you to sand and can be ordered  with a 1/2 tray that is used to store small items.
The chest is made of USA White Pine and Imported Birch by Amish Tradesmen in Ohio.
 
You can choose to upgrade to the Larger Tray. Please select from the options.
 
If you would like to decorate your treasure chest as we do with colored or leather trim you can select from different colors in the options list. All of the colors are the same price $4.50. Please click on the Accent Trim Kit.

We supply enough trim for the sides, handles and strips to go over the top. Don't forget the leathers handles come with the leather trim kit. No need to order twice.
 
The lid is held open with a brass plated chain and it is fitted with brass plated hinges.
The domed top is standard.
 
You can choose from a selection of handles in the options.
 
Don't forget to choose the HideAway Kit. The HideAway is a false bottom that has a finger hole for removal. The really neat thing about it is that you can adjust the level of the bottom so that you can hide larger items. 
And if you want to secure your Chest you have a choice of: Black Hasp and Steel Padlock, Rusty Hasp and Rusty Padlock or a Brass Latch. 
 
We can mount the options for you. If you intend to paint or stain the chest you can just take them off.
 
We also have 2" x 1/4"thick Baltic Birch wooden letters that are hand-cut by craftsmen right here in Ohio. You can use the letters to personalize your Treasure Chest. (Just enter the number of letters you want in the quantity and then list the letters you want in the customer notes when you checkout.)
 
The letters are unstained and can be painted, stained or sealed in a contrasting color. We will send the letters to you so that you can place them on the chest yourself.

You can also choose the Brass Name Plate from the options, please remember to tell us what name you would like. You can tell us in the customer notes when you check out.

Sanded and ready to finish. Hinges and chain are already installed. .
The Chest measures 11" wide, 6" tall and 7" deep (front to back).
And if you want to secure your Chest you have a choice of: Black Hasp and Steel Padlock, Rusty Hasp and Rusty
Padlock or a Brass Latch.   
Add the options that you want from the list. Please remember that leather handles come with the trim kits and don't need to be entered twice.
Also, the lock and latches mount in the same location so you don't need both.
If you choose the Brass Name Plate from the options, please remember to tell us what name you would like. You can tell us in the "customer comments" when you check out.

Desk Top Chest Assembled/Unfinished

Desk Top Chest that is assembled but is not stained or painted. We will attach the hinges, chain for the lid and the feet if you order them. But it is better that you put the other stuff on after you stain or paint the chest. You can order the leather kits to make it look like one of our Pirate Chests that we show elsewhere. This assembled chest can be used for your collection of sport/action figure cards or as a jewelry box for the top of the dresser. Its just the right size for the Barbie Doll collector too. It measures 15" x 6" x 6" and comes with the hinges and chain for the lid holder. Please order the handles and latch separately. Please choose the extras from the options list.

Sanded and ready to finish. Hinges and chain are already installed. 
Be sure to let us know if you are making a Pirate Chest with the Leather Trim Kit or the Wedding Box. And also let us know if you need the drop slot cut for the Wedding Box.
 
The Chest measures 15" wide, 14" tall (with feet) and 11" deep (front to back).
 
We also have a larger unfinished chest in the inventory now. The new larger chest measures18" wide, 14" tall (with feet) and 11" deep (front to back).
Please note. The larger unfinished chest (pirate looking chest) has a brace across the middle of the lid. If you are going to use it for a Wedding Money Card box, we will need to put a smooth top on it that doesn't have a brace. (The brace would prevent the cards from falling through the slot.) Please tell us about what you need in the notes when you place your order.

If you order the decals, we will just put them in the box for you to install yourself. The decals have an adhesive back and are 4" x 4". They would look better on a smooth top. So just let us know and we'll make the chest with smooth top and bottom. Put that request in the notes as you complete your order. Look for "customer notes".
 
The ribbons are 1-3/8" wide and 5 ft long. They can be used as a lid holder instead of the brass chain that we usually send. We usually put a knot in them around the center of the length. Then we fasten the knot to the lower section of the chest and a loop on the lid with a brass tack. And then finish it off with a nice bow. But we'll leave that up to you and just put it in the box for you to be creative.

It is completly assembled, ready for you to sand and can be ordered  with a 1/2 tray that is used to store small items.

Also, you can decorate your chest with a piece of felt cut to size so that you can paste it onto the Free HideAway false bottom. Simply use some spray glue to fasten the felt and then trim to size.
 
And the decals are self stick and are easy to install.
